- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Northern Region Contracting Center, Fort Eustis, Virginia intends to make an award on sole source non-competitive Small Business basis for services for meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and dining facility for 280 cadets and cadre. The company we intend to negotiate with is MEJIAS, Jose Y ASOCISDOS. Camp facility must be located within the Gurabo, Puerto Rico area. The NAICS code is 722310 SIC code is 5812, size standard 17.5M. This proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with the authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. A determination no t to open the requirement to competition based on responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the agency. Closing date for this notice is May 27, 2005, 12:00PM. This synopsis may represent the only notice of this action.
