- Description
- The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, vehicles, and all other items and services necessary to perform Military Family Housing Maintenance and Dormitory Maintenance Services at Cannon AFB, NM. Maintenance includes maintenance management, Major Maintenance/Repair, change of occupancy maintenance, service calls, appliance maintenance/repair/replacement, Self-Help store, Key control/lockouts, disaster response work, asbestos abatement, lead based paint abatement/removal, painting, abate refrigerants, cleaning, carpet cleaning, and grounds maintenance to include tree trimming/removal. The contractor shall maintain 1294 military family housing units located on Cannon's Main Base and 350 units in the cities of Clovis and Portales, NM. In addition, the contractor shall maintain 834 dormitory rooms to include common living areas. This acquisition is set aside for 8(a) firms with the applicable NAICS code of 238990. All other firms are ineligible to submit offers. The period of performance consists of a basic, 12-month period plus four, 12-month option periods. All offerors are notified that Cannon AFB is on the list of recommended closures to the Base Realignment Advisory Commision; however, this list has not been approved and is not permanent and binding. Should the list be approved, the scope of this contract may be affected. In addition, Housing Privatization may also affect this contract.
