- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement to acquire an industrial grade color monitor. The Drug Enforcement Administration, Surveillance Support Section, uses monitors to assist agents for CCTV and to review video surveillance during law enforcement investigations. Specifications for the industrial grade color monitor shall meet or exceed the following minimum requirements: The format must be NTSC/PAL with comb filter and no less than 370 lines horizontal resolution. The monitor should be rack mount capable. The screen must be flat technology, 13 inches diagonally and have an image aspect ratio of 4:3. The set must have digital comb filtering and meet EPA energy star compliant standards. If must include an infrared remote control. Other features must include sharpness, contrast, brightness, tint, color, audio, bass, treble, control with stereo sound output. It must be closed caption capable and display menu functions in English. The color monitor must have the following input/output connectors: Video in (BNC), video out (BNC), VHF/UHF in (75 Ohms), headphone and S-video input. Power source: 120V AC, 60Hz, 3-prong AC cord. The govenment plans on purchasing a minimum of twenty (20). A written quote must be submitted within fifteen (15) days from the date of synopsis is published. No solicitation is available. A sample will be required for testing. Closing date is June 6, 2005 @ 2:30 EST. No telephone responses will be accepted.
