Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY AND NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) DOCUMENT. THE RFP/SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. PROPOSALS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED OR ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. CONTRACTORS SHOULD FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. The U. S. Coast Guard requires the repair of twenty-five (25) over the life of the contract, if all options are exercised, Over the Horizon Airborne Sensor Information System (OASIS) Part Number 102690-001 used on the HU25C and HU25D aircraft for a base period of three years with one two-year option. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with the OASIS Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM’s), Raytheon Company, Tactical Data Systems, 16800 E. Centre Tech Parkway, Aurora, CO. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The necessary drawings, specifications, service bulletins, manuals, and repair/overhaul procedures are proprietary to the OEM and not otherwise available to the Coast Guard through any other source. Request for this solicitation must be in writing addressed to: U.S. Coast Guard, Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Attn: Contracting Officer, HU25 PLD, Bldg 79, Elizabeth City, NC, 27909-5001. Telephone requests will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the agency. Anticipated effective date is no later than October 1, 2005. Solicitation release date is anticipated to be Jan 22, 2005 and proposals must be received by Feb 26, 2005, 4:00 p.m., Eastern Time. Facsimile offers are acceptable and may be forwarded to 252-334-5427. Offers may be submitted on company letterhead stationery indicating the price and extended price, FOB point; payment terms and any discount offered for prompt payment, the business size standard and any minority classification; delivery date, and Representation and Certifications. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-NOV-2004).
