- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, is currently seeking potential sources for a fixed price plus indefinite quantity facilities support contract, selected services at Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB), Albany GA. The scope of work includes all management, supervision, labor, engineering services, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, facilities, and transportation necessary to perform the required services in the following functional areas at Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB), Albany GA. The fixed price portion of the contract shall include: Service calls; Clean Grease Traps; Maintain Scales; Maintain Fire Suppression System; Elevator Maintenance; and Clean Vent Hoods. The indefinite quantity portion is for facilities support construction contract to provide and secure services for miscellaneous construction, repair, alterations, and maintenance work at unit prices proposed in the Schedule of Indefinite Quantity Work. The Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, and equipment to accomplish the requirements of task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. It is the Government's intention to issue the solicitation exclusively through the Internet at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The entire solicitation will be available at the site for viewing or downloading. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register at the web site. This will normally be the only method of distribution of amendments; therefore it is the offeror's responsibility to periodically check the web site for amendments to the solicitation. The official plan holder list will also be maintained on and can be printed from the web site. The tentative RFP issuance date will be on or about June 06, 2005. Any resultant contract will have a performance period that includes a base period with four option years. The contract type will be a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity. This is a negotiated source selection procurement that consists of the submission of price and technical proposals. The NAICS for this procurement is 561210 with a size standard of $23 Million. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available at this time. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
