- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material to install approximately fifteen (15) small diameter wells (piezometer) at the East Gate Disposal Yard (EGDY) by an inexpensive direct push/impact hammer driven method generating minima l or no soil cuttings. All wells shall be installed by Geoprobe? or equivalent method (hydraulically-powered, percussion/probing machine). The wells shall be constructed to yield representative ground water samples for chemical analysis and to allow for t he accurate measurement of ground water depths relative to the top of the well riser. The maximum drilling depth for the monitoring wells is 30 feet below ground surface with 5 ft pre-packed screens. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, mater ials, transportation, supplies, and accessories required to accomplish the investigations, monitoring well completions, and all other operations incidental to the work in strict accordance with these specifications and applicable schedule in accordance wit h the Scope of Work dated 18 May 2005. The Contractor shall provide personnel consisting of at least one experienced operator. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 235810, which is matched to SIC code 1781.
