DESC: 6150-01-393-3726, Part Number 12324470-2, The item to procure is a WIRING HARNESS (NSN: (6150-01-393-3726), P/N 12324470-2, F/M1A1 TANK IS MULTI-BRANCHED, WITH SIX BRANCHES HAVING (4) MS3475 AND (2) M83723 PLUGS AND CABLE PER M27500-20. BRANCH ES ARE 7.00 TO 111.00 INCHES IN LENGTH. Requirements are 150, WIRING HARNESS. FOB is Destination. For use on the M1A1 ABRAMS TANK. Estimated issue date is 05 JUNE 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5. 102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitati on will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsi ve and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include four (4) 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that can be provided via the internet. In accordance with FAR 8.602 and DFARS 208.602, the supplies covered by this solicitation are determined to be products furnished by Federal Prison Industries (FPI). Although this item has/has not been made by FPI in the past, a determination has been mad e to include FPI as a possible source. Not withstanding the inclusion of any set-aside provision or clause in this solicitation, award may be made to FPI, even if this solicitation is subject to set-aside provision.
