Description

Item to be procured is 20 (Twenty) each, Repair Kit, Commander's Control Grip, NSN 1290-01-522-3439, P/N 13008478. End Item is M1A2 Abrams Tank. There is no option associated with this procurement. This is a 100% Small Business setaside procuremen t. There are source-controlled drawings associated with this assembly. Assembly consists of 51 (fifty-one) parts with various quantities, including (but not limited to) push switches, toggle switches, dust and moisture boot, helical compression springs, machine washers, nuts, pins, ball bearings and O-rings. Item requires phosphate coating IAW MIL-DT-L-16232. Phosphate procedure must be approved by Government prior to production. Estimated issue date for solicitation is 2 June 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
