- This acquisition is for the following item: NSN: 1560-01-440-9164LG, P/N: 970-00006-001, Noun: Radome Beavertail, applicable to the MC-130E Aircraft. FUNC: Functions as the AFT ALQ-172 Recieve Antenna Base and Radome. The quantity is 2 each and three options quantity of 1-2 each, 1-2 each and 1-2 each. Justification: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Only One or a Limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
