Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B3R25111A100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-01, Effective 09 March 2005 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. This acquisition is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 423440, with size standard not to exceed 500 employees. Basic requirement: Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, travel, material, supervision, personnel, equipment, material, transportation, and administration and other items and services necessary to reconfigure the existing secondary entry sign according to attached Statement of Work. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED AT ALTUS AFB, OK 73523 ON 23 MAY 2005 AT 10:00 AM CST, AT ALTUS AFB SOUTH GATE (JUST OFF US-62). PLEASE RSVP VIA E-MAIL TO DERIC.HARRIS@ALTUS.AF.MIL (Or by Fax (580) 481-5138) NO LATER THAN 20 MAY 2005, 16:00 PM CST, WITH THE FIRST AND LAST NAMES OF ALL ATTENDEES. ON THE DAY OF THE SITE VISIT, AN ESCORT WILL BE AT THE SOUTH GATE (Off US-62) AND WILL DEPART PROMPTLY AT 10:00 AM CST. PLEASE BE ON TIME TO GET YOUR TEMPORARY PASS ISSUED. ONCE THE ESCORT DEPARTS, NO ONE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ESCORT ANY LATE COMERS. Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at: http://www.ccr.gov/ and the Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov/ . The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions.
