- Project calls for Military Family Housing Maintenance Services for 600 but no more than 977 housing units and 808 dormitory rooms located at Dyess AFB, TX. This project is a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. Work will be released to the successful contractor in work packages via individual task orders. Unit prices will be taken for the Base Year (year one) and FOUR (4) option years. This procurement includes but is not limited to: 1) Responding to service calls, 2) Change of occupancy maintenance (COM), 3) Recurring maintenance, 4) Inspection and repair of interior and exterior of housing units to include plumbing, electrical, garages, storage areas, installed fences, playground equipment/areas maintenance, appliance inspection and repair, 5) Grounds maintenance in housing areas, 6) Painting and carpeting of dormitory rooms, and 7) Provide management and labor to warehouse, maintain stock levels, and issue materials from the Self-Help Store to military family housing residents. Contract will be awarded on ?best value to Government? basis. The two evaluation factors are Past Performance and Price, with Past Performance being more important than price. Therefore the Government reserves the right to award the contract to an offeror other than the one proposing the lowest price. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238990 with a small business size standard of $12M. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SERVICE CONNECTED DISABLED VETERAN SET ASIDE. The solicitation will be posted on or about 2 June 2005, via the Federal Business Opportunities web page at www.eps.gov. A site visit will be held on or about 15 June 2005, the exact date, time and location of this site visit will be posted in the solicitation. The site visit will be mandatory, proposals received from companies that did not attend the site visit will be considered non responsive. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile, or written requests will be accepted. You must register on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this website frequently far any updates/amendments to any and all documents. These viewers may be downloaded from the EPS website. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
