Description
The Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to provide tree maintenance services. The required services cover the tree removal, stump removal, pruning, trimming, cabling, cavity repair, root pruning, removal and disposal of all associated waste and debris at three different National Cemeteries. The cemeteries are: Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzback Road, San Antonio, TX 78209; San Antonio National cemetery, 517 Paso Hondo, San Antonio, TX 78210 and Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. The contract performance period is 60 calendar days for each cemetery, a combined total of 180 calendar days. Subject to the availability of funds. This acquisition is 100% set aside for award to service disabled veterans owned small businesses (SDVOSB). Offers or quotations from other than a SDVOSB will not be considered and shall be rejected. Definitions - As used in the Solicitation: "Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business" (1) Means a small business concern _ (i) With not less than 51 percent of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of any publicly owned business, not less than 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans; and (ii) The management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of a veteran with permanent and severe disability, the spouse or permanent caregiver of such veteran. (2) Service-Disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16). The NAICS Code is 561730 and the size standard is $6 million.
