- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to place a single source award with Microsoft Corporation for Premier Support Services, Level C, to assist in maintaining existing Microsoft software. The requirement is for the base year plus four one-year options to renew. Microsoft Corporation is the only known source having possession of the required technical expertise and knowledge that are necessary to accomplish the work. This is a follow-on requirement that has previously been awarded to Microsoft on a yearly basis. The FAA reserves the right to award the first performance year in time to ensure that there is no break in service while evaluating any new information developed as a result of this announcement that could affect the decision on whether to exercise the options. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
