- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service, Northwest Region located in Seattle WA intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Idaho Dept of Fish and Game for services to participate in DNA sampling, sample analysis, data exchange and coordination services among laboratories required to establish a Westcoast DNA Baseline for Stock Identification. The contractor will complete the certification process for standardization of the thirteen agreed upon microsatellite loci and collect and analyze samples from two Snake River Chinook populations to allow additional to the coast-wide DNA baseline. Idaho Department of Fish and Game participation in the establishment of a coast-wide DNA baseline for Chinook Salmon is necessary to ensure representation of Idaho and Snake River salmon stocks in the investigation. A firm-fixed price order will be issued with performance period of one year. This notice may represent the only office notice. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100, 000.00. ****The Western Administrative Support Center Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov.
