Description

This modifies the subject solicitation DG1330-05-RP-1070 issued on April 28, 2005, synopsized previously under DG1330-05-RP-1057. The modification is necessary due to a need to restructure the statement of work as written to delete any work related to distribution, locator and duplicating services. The distribution, locator and duplicating services will be solicited by the Government Printing Office (GPO) as a separate contract. At this time, we plan to modify the present solicitation to remove the distribution, locator and duplicating services to be procured through GPO from the statement of work. A modification to the solicitation will be issued within 2-3 weeks. The present proposal due dates are hereby suspended and a new proposal due date will be established in the next modification when it is issued. All questions concerning the solicitation that have been submitted previously will be retained and addressed in the next modification to the solicitation to be issued. The Government anticipates a new contract start date of October 1, 2005. The modification to solicitation will be posted to the fedbizopps web site when available. NOAA wants to assure all potential offerors that this acquisition is still a competitive 8(a) procurement and the only reasons for the delay is due to the facts stated above.
