- The US Secret Service (USSS) intends to award a firm-fixed price order to Knight?s Armament Company, 7750 9th Street, SW, Vero Beach, Florida for the following items: (1) Quantity (10) 7.62mm brass jag, part number 21300; (2) quantity 10 7.622mm Mk11 Mod O Match Rifle, part number 21035; (3) quantity 10, matched barrels and bolt, part number 95230; (4) quantity 10, 20-round SR-25 magazines, part number 98036; (5) quantity 10, Dewey 35.5 special coated rod, part number 21278; (6) quantity 10, Dewey 7.62 Bore Brush Adaptor, part number 21301; (7) quantity 10, 7.62MK Navy Field Cleaning Kit, part number 24385; and quantity 10, BiPod adaptor (SR-25), part number 98060. Award will be based on Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-2. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The anticipated award date is May 23, 2005. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22 ? 45 days is changed to read five (5) days. Any inquiries must include a full capability statement and must be received within five (5) days of publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of a response to this notice.
