- The U. S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, on behalf of Commander, Naval Surface Forces Atlantic, intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to Reliable Equipment & Service Co. Inc., Ivyland, PA. Specifically, NavSea has a need for Fiberglass Telescopic poles (BLACK) with 1 & 2 sections removed, No labels on Base, Labels on separate card and attached to Pole. Special Modification with Holes drilled in all Lock bodies and hole in base cap. The Telescopic Fiberglass Pole was developed in coordination with the US Navy, and has been tested and approved for NavSea's use. The pole must also work with three other components manufactured by other vendors. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Announcement is for informational purposes only. However, all information received by 4:30 p.m. EST May 23, 2005 will be considered by the Government. The anticipated award date is May 24th, 2005.
