- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 5.201. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03 effective 11 April 2005 + Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and DFARS Change Notice 20050505. The following clauses and provisions apply: FAR 52.204-7, 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5, and DFARS 252.204-7001. This procurement is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1 to The Mathworks, Inc. of Natick, MA. The MathWorks, Inc of Natick MA, is the only known source that can satisfy the government?s requirements in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services can satisfy agency requirements.? MathWorks Inc is the designer, developer, manufacturer, and only seller of MatLab engineering suite of tools that can provide the technical support, upgrades and documentation required by the government. Required delivery is 14 days after receipt of order (DARO) with period of coverage from date of contract award through 1 May 2006. This RFQ has the following line item: CLIN Description QTY 0001 MatLab Engineering Support Software Package 1 lot to include re-instatement, maintenance, technical support, upgrades and software documentation. DESCRIPTION: ADP Software Proposals must price each above line item listed. Please note if manufacturer requires a license agreement to be signed by the government, the terms and conditions of that agreement are required to be in compliance with all Federal Laws, Statutes, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Therefore, please modify accordingly and submit with your quote. License Agreements submitted without complying with all Federal Laws, Statutes, and Federal Acquisition Regulations shall be deemed as unresponsive and will not be considered for award.
