- This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written RFQ will not be issued. The RFQ, F1SEAD5097A300, is issued as a RFQ for a firm-fixed price contract. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular and DFARS Change Notice (DCN). This acquisition is a small business business set-aside. The standard industrial classification code is 3572. The NAICS code is 334112 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. All items must be Brand Name or Equal. If quoting equal parts, contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. The acquisition is as follows: CLIN 0001: Manufacturer Name: Nexsan; Part Number: B1FX14400ADRG; Description: Nexsan Fibre ATA Disk Array Configured with 14-400 GB Disk/ATA/7200 RPM Rackmount; Quantity: 2 each with 3 year Advance Exchange Warranty; CLIN 0002: Manufacturer Name: Nexsan; Part Number: CTR-012-512; Description: Second Fibre Controller-Active-Active; Quantity: 2 each. Delivery and acceptance is at Edwards AFB CA 93524, FOB Destination. Delivery shall not be no later than 30 days from the date of award. The following provisions and clauses apply: Provision 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. (End of Provision) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial; clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (to include: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers With Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans); clause 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration; and provision 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items, the following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: technically acceptable lowest priced offer. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror?s Online Representations and Certifications Application--Commercial Items with the offer. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, log to http://www.bpn.gov to load the required information. The following DFAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 252.212 7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (including 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program); and 252.211-7003 Item Identification and Valuation.
