- Description
- The 46th Test Wing at Eglin AFB FL has a requirement for unarmed security guard service for test support within 35-mile radius of Eglin Main Base at Eglin AB FL. Depending on the responses to the synopsis; it is our intent to issue this requirement as a competitive HUB-Zone set-aside. The appropriate SIC Code is 7381, NAICS Code 561612, with a dollar value of $10.5M You are reminded that 35% of your employees must reside in a HUB-Zone and you must certify that you will attempt to maintain this percentage during the performance of this contract. If you are HUB-Zone certified and are interested in this acquisition, please respond to this announcement with in 15 days (NLT 1 June 05). If the contracting officer determines that a HUB-Zone award is not feasible, this acquisition will be issued as a small business set-aside. This will be a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) without further notice on or about (3 June 05). Contract performance will include, but is not limited to, on call services, twenty hour continuous service, seven days weekly, roving patrol, control access to test sites and buildings, and inspection of area for signs of vandalism, theft or compromise of security. Maps will be given with layout and floor plans of all areas that will be covered. These maps shall be provided on as-required basis in reasonable quantities. A secret clearance is required for all employees. The basic performance period is expected to be 1 Oct 05 through 30 Sept 06, plus four one year options periods.
