- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiated and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a Software Upgrade to DRS Technologies, 4393 Dayton Xenia Rd, Dayton, OH, 45432-1803 under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a sole source requirement due to compatibility requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotations received fifteen days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The announcement number is F1T0AW5089A100. The requirement consists of the following item: CLIN 0001, (1 LOT) PISTOL 350 SOFTWARE UPGRADE TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1 EA. 0.2 HZ RESOLUTION/160 HZ SPAN, 1 EA. TEXT BASED REMOTE COMMAND SET, 1 EA. INCREASE MIDAS HEADER INFORMATION CONTENT, INSTALLATION AND TESTING AT CUSTOMER?S FACILITY. The item is to be delivered FOB Destination to 203 W. D. Avenue, Suite 351, Eglin AF Base, Florida 32542. The clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03, Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement and any addenda to the provisions. FAR Provision 52.204-8 ANNUAL REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS (JAN 2005), (a)(1) If the clause at 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration, is included in this solicitation, paragraph (b) of this provision applies. (2) If the clause at 52.204-7 is not included in this solicitation, and the offeror is currently registered in CCR, and has completed the ORCA electronically, the offeror may choose to use paragraph (b) of this provision instead of completing the corresponding individual representations and certifications in the solicitation. The offeror shall indicate which option applies by checking one of the following boxes: (__) Paragraph (b) applies.
