Description
Under authority of U.S.C. 253(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1 the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, a contract with Edin Associates, 2827 29th St NW, Washington, DC. The contractor shall have a Masters Degree or better, related to education. 2. The contractor shall be a Master Certified Coach or better. 3. The contractor shall work with the Seniors Leaders at National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) to build and sustain a healthy community and energize the workplace. 4. The contractor shall form a Leadership Steering Community (LSC) which shall be comprised of 6 Senior Leaders who are committed to being stewards of positive change. This LSC will function as a learning community and will be involved in identifying current needs, experiencing, and evaluating holistic approaches to growing leaders, and making recommendations for presenters for the Leadership Mentoring Forums which shall be offered to senior leaders at NICHD. The LSC will meet 6 times over the course of the contract. 5. The contractor shall have meetings with the Executive Team of NICHD to identify major goals of the project and to ensure on-going quality of the project; identification of resources; meetings with coach/facilitators; staying in touch with Leadership Steering Community members; marketing; and evaluation.. 6. The contractor shall conduct needs assessment with 18 Senior Leaders (members of the Get Away Group) and identify themes. 7. The contractor shall deliver the first Leadership Coaching and Mentoring Forum in December 2005, for the Get Away Group. 8. The contractor shall cultivate holistic leadership and create a mentor/coaching culture that brings out the curiosity of the people within it, expands the room for differences, and encourages new approaches, appreciative inquiry, and more productive and meaningful conversations. 9. The contractor shall develop a holistic model for cultivating community and teamwork and this model shall include but not limited to the following: a. Executive Coaching b. Leadership Steering Community c. Leadership Coaching and Mentoring Forum d. Leadership Dialogue Group 10. The period of performance shall be from May 2005 through December 2005. The period of performance is for seven months. The Northern American Industry Classification System Code is 611430, witha size standard of $6.0. This is not a formal solicitation, however business concerns that respond to this notice must furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above. Business concerns demonstrating the capability to accomplish the requirements shall supply pertinent information in the form of curriculum vitae in sufficient detail to demonstrate their ability to perform. Information furnished shall include enough material to perform a proper evaluation of each item listed above. Respondents will not be notified of the evaluation results.
