- Notice of Intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Paroscientific, Inc to provide 17 model 6000-30G Digiquartz Intelligent Transmitters. This transmitter have been tested and approved for use at NOAA, NOS stations; they are a component part of the Data Acquisition Syatem of the National Weather Level Observation Network, Physical Oceanographic Real Time System, Hydrographic, and other special project stations. These stations support a varity of critical NOS programs including long-term data series, tide predictions, hydrography, tsunami and storm surge warning, hibitat restoration, hazardous material spill response, and tidal datum determination. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000 ****The Western Administrative Support Center Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov.
