Description

The purpose of this contract is for installing culverts, restoring ditches and catch basins, repairing road surfacing with crushed aggregate, removing log stringer bridges, constructing waterbars, constructing a rock buttress, placing riprap and removing a slide on Forest Service Roads on the Wrangell Ranger District. The project area is located 13 miles south of Wrangell on Wrangell Island, Southeast Alaska. Wrangell is accessible via the Alaska Marine Highway System. The estimated price range for this acquisition is $25,000 and $100,000. The performance period is 180 calendar days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about June 1, 2005 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation KTN-05-44. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 21 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project.
