- NOTICE OF INTENT The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (U.S. EPA) Office of Acquisition Management (OAM), Emergency Response Service Center (ERSC) intends to award an 8 (a) sole source, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity fixed-rate, contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.8, Contracting with the Small Business Administratiion (The 8(a) Program). This decision is based on the Government's determination per the results from the review of information received via the sources sought issued on February 15, 2005. The purpose of this acquisition will be for the EPA Region 8 warehouse storage and inventory management of equipment. The major tasking areas include warehouse support, transportation, and vehicle management associated with emergency counter terrorism and hazardous material responses. Per FAR Part 6.302-5, Authorized or Required by Statute, EPA will issue an 8(a) sole-source contract for a value not to exceed $3,000,000, in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.8.
