Description

SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel in Washington, DC, Alexandria, VA or Arlington, VA for the Validation of Credit Rating and Scoring Systems (VCRSS) Workshop. The Workshop will be a day in length with a reception the preceding night. Approximately 300 guest room nights are required. The program will consist of one reception for about 250 people; a general session and lunch for about 400 people. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Official Hotel Guide; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation through this web site in May 2005. The solicitation document will contain the details of OCC?s requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures. All responsible hotels may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in July/August 2005. *****
