- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to initiate a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with AAI Corporation, Cockeysville, MD 21030-0126. The purpose of the proposed BOA and all subsequent order placed under it is to procure Repair of Repairables (ROR) service to support the MH-60R Program. The BOA will be for a period of three years from the date of contract award. The ROR Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) will cover repair services that cannot be accomplished at Navy Maintenance Activities. The services will include disassembly and repair to the piece-part level of major sub-components and subsequent reassembly testing and adjustments and/or calibration as necessary. All repairs will be made using original manufactured replacement parts, and the units will be returned to fully operational Ready For Issue (RFI) condition. NAWCADLKE intends to procure this under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
