Description: The U.S. Marine Corps intends to procure the repair of 30 Main Generator Control Units (GCUs) for the CH-46E helicopter from DME Corporation, Orlando, FL. The GCU is part of the electrical power generating system on the CH-46E helicopter. This procurement will be awarded as a contract modification under contract N00019-00-C-0172, which was originally awarded to DME Corporation under a competitive, small business set-aside competition. DME is the sole designer, developer and manufacuturer of the GCU (and APU) for the CH-46E helicopter.
