- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a firm fixed price delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-03-G-0003 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) on an other than full and open competitive basis. The delivery order will be Non Recurring Engineering (NRE) efforts to perform the design, manufacturing engineering, process planning, tool design, and tool fabrication required to incorporate the Armed Helo Weapons System (AHWS) fixed provisions into the MH-60S production line. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. GENERAL INFORMATION: Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the MH-60S aircraft. SAC alone has the proprietary technical data, experience, equipment and special skills to furnish the supplies and services within the required timeframe.
