- Description
- This is a SOLE SOURCE procurement for ship parts for RAMCorp Wire and Cable Technologies (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for custom made cable, including armoring and overall electromagnetic interference shield qualities, for a T-AO class ship. This requirement will be solicited as Sole Source RFP, under NAICS Code 336611 with a size standard of 1000 employees. Telephonic requests for the solicitation resulting from this notice will not be accepted. Only written (fax or email) requests will be accepted. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 16 MAY 2005. The closing date of the solicitation will be 18 MAY 2005, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with RAMCorp Wire and Cable Technologies, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
