- The National Park Service at Steamtown NHS in Scranton, PA will issue RFQ4810050904 on or before June 3, 2005 for locomotive driver and trailer tires. This solicitation will be issued at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This procurement is a set-aside for small business firms, and the NAICS code is 336510, with a size standard of 1,000 employees or less. The requirements for the driver tires are as follows: Material: AAR M-106, latest class B (no substitutions). The Furnished OD: 75 1/4" + 1/8 / -0 at gage line - not on flange. The ID is 67 3/4" +0/-1/8" straight bored. Thickness is 4". AAR sheets will have remaining specifications. Requirements for the trailer tires are as follows: Material: AAR m-106 latest class B Furnished OD: 45 1/4" + 1/8 / -0 at gage line - not on flange. ID: 37 3/4" + 0/- 1/8" straight bored. Thickness is 4". Shipping: anti-rust coat tires, band no more than four tires per pallet or skid, protect w/plastic. Shipping will be FOB destination.
