- In accordance with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76, dated May 29, 2003, the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) announces an A-76 Streamlined Competition to provide Road Maintenance Operator support in the surrounding area of the Navajo Nation in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. Currently, these services are provided by Government employees. Approximately 43 government full-time equivalents (FTE's) are included in the study. The purpose of the study is to determine whether efficiencies are realized utilizing government or contractor support. The projected end date of the study is September 27, 2005. The study will be conducted using documented market research in accordance with the Circular and no solicitation will be issued.
