- Description
- The US Army Medical Command Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC) has a requirement, solicitation number W81K04-05-R-0023, for hospital housekeeping services at the Guthrie Ambulatory Health Care Clinic and the outlying clinics at Fort Drum, NY. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, training, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to provide hospital housekeeping services in accordance with JCAHO, OSHA, and MEDCOM standards and regulations. The estimated com bined square footage of all facilities is 195,225 square feet. The contract base period will be from January 01, 2006 through September 30, 2006, with four 1-year options. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code/size is 561720/$14M. This requirement will be solicited as an 8(a) set-aside. Offerors must meet the required minimum Corporate Experience. Contractor Corporate Experience requires that the firm have gained experience in hospital housekeeping services as a result of being regular ly engaged in the business of providing housekeeping services in healthcare/patient care environments (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, ancillary, surgical, and dental care). The minimum level of acceptable experience required is 24 months within the previous 36 months from the date initially established for submission of proposals. Periods of creditable performance may have been incurred at more than one site for at least 12 consecutive calendar months at each site and could not have been gained at two or mo re sites concurrently. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about May 20, 2005. Any prospective offerors will be able to download the solicitation from the website. Telephone or written requests for the s olicitation will not be accepted.
