- Description
- The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment , and constructing stone hardpoint dikes and raising existing stone trenchfill in the Mississippi River at Cottonwood Bar, Louisiana. Principal features of work include mobili zation and demobilization, constructing nine (9) stone hardpoint dikes (approximately 3,470 linear feet), raising existing stone trenchfill (approximately 1,910 linear feet), using the Government-furnished software (RMS) for electronic exchange of informat ion and management of the contract (See Section 01312 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM), and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000 and 5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consoli dated Contracting Office Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/ . Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check the VCCO Web Page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Issue dat e on or about 8 June 2005. Bid opening date on or about 12 July 2005 at 1400 Hours. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED.
