- On or about May 23, 2005 this office will issue a Request for Quote for a 3-Year Firm Fixed Price Contract for Biological Monitoring and Assessment of Off-Channel Aquatic Habitats along the Missouri River System under NAICS Code 541690, in support of the US Army Corps of Engineers and its customers. The Government will award one contract from Solicitation Number W9128F-05-Q-0127 with an estimated total value of up to $717,000.00, for the base work and three (3) options, which will not exceed a total of three (3) years. This contract will be a sole source award to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission which has the unique capabilities required to provide these specialized services in support of endangered species recovery efforts. Since the inception of these recovery efforts the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has partnered with the U.S. Corps of Engineers and other State and Federal Agencies who perform recovery work along their respective segments of the river. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commi ssion was selected for this award because this is a follow-on contract and they possess the biological expertise, experience, knowledge, and refined techniques to conduct this biological monitoring and assessment work on the Missouri River System.
