- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W31P4Q-05-T-R024. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and cl auses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02. The requirement is for Software Maintenance to include, 1 ea AIA-NAS Aerospace Industries Association of America on CD/DVD, 1 ea, ASTM Metals on CD/DVD, 1 ea, ASTM Paint on CD/ DVD, 1 ea, ASTM Plastics on CD/DVD, 1 ea, ASTM Rubber and Electrical Insulating Materials on CD/DVD, 1 ea, ASTM General Test methods on CD/DVD, 1 ea, ASTM Miscellaneous on CD/DVD, 1 ea, Historical DoD Standardization Service Complete on CD/DVD, 1 e a, Specs and Standards 3.0 with Pay Per View capabilities. This requirement consists of two option years. The award will be made on a Firm Fixed-Price type contract, Inspection/Acceptance/FOB will be destination. All responsible sources may submit an o ffer and shall be considered by the Agency. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. Anticipated award will be to Information Handling Services, Inc., 15 Inver ness Way E., Englewood, CO 80112-2571. Any award issued on this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFA RS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors, Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition. Offer is due no later than COB, 26 May 2005, in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B152, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. Electronic quotes/offers are acceptab le. Quotes/offers received after the specified date will not be considered for award.
