- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 334220 , Size Standard 750 employees. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2BBAE5119A100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03 effective 11 APRIL 2005. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001) Spot Focusing Horn Lens Antenna (SEE REQUIREMENTS) . QUANTITY: 2 UNIT OF MEASURE: EACH. DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: By 16 August 2005 FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION . The Antenna must meet the following REQUIREMENTS: 1. The horn must consist of 2 equal plano convex dielectric lenses mounted back to back in order to refract the microwave signal in either direction hence a spot focusing horn lens antenna. 2. Must have 6" beamwaste from approx 1 meter from lens (Lenses must be able to have a beam focus of < 6in from 3ft away (far field)) 3. Must be able to operate either at X band or Ku band or both (8.2-18Ghz) 4. Must have an SMA coax connector 5. Gain must be approximately 26dB 6.
