- Western Area Power Administration, Sierra-Nevada Region (SNR), in Folsom, CA has a requirement for a 32-ton, 8-tire lowbed trailer with detachable gooseneck and air ride suspension, IAW attached specifications to be used by SNR linemen located at Elverta Maintenance Facility, Elverta, CA. The lowbed trailer shall be capable of loading over the front or back without damaging the trailer or voiding the warranty. It shall be the standard product of one manufacturer and the selling dealer shall provide the parts and service faciities to service the trailer and its components and assure its performance equal to the Murray Easy Load Trailer. The NAICS code for this requirement is 336212 with a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business and IAW the spec, must be located within the Sacramento, CA commuting area or if not, be able to provide a means to satisfy the requirement of the last paragraph of the specification at no additional cost to the government.
