- THIS MODIFICATION CHANGES THE DATE OF RECEIPT OF QUOTES TO JUNE 3, 2005 AT CLOSE OF BUSINESS. This acquisition on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest has a requirement for an archaeological inventory survey in the Eightmile Creek drainage on the Methow Valley Ranger District. The work to be performed consists of conducting a pedestrian survey with full recordation and evaluation of Cultural Resources. The purpose of the survey is to locate and record all cultural resource sites and isolated cultural materials (50 years of age or older) within the Eightmile timber sale and fuel reduction project area so that the agency may make an informed decision regarding effects to historic properties. The services required by the government in this Request for Quotations include furnishing of all tools, equipment, supplies (except those listed as ?Government-Furnished Property?, labor, transportation, supervision and incidentals necessary to complete cultural resource survey. Documentation and evaluation of cultural resource sites, isolates, and preparation of a final report shall be performed in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract with date of award through Nov. 1, 2005.
