- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This requirement will be negotiated solely with Ibis Tek LLC, 210 Spring Street, Butler, PA 16001-1702. The Contractor shall provide additional system upgrades to the Gunslinger Spiral 1 prototype to prepare it for continued operational experimentation. NSWCDD intends to replace the shelter in which Gunslinger Spiral 1 is currently installed and to mount the gun mount and sensors to the roof of a new shelter. A roof support structure for the new shelter needs to be designed, fabricated, and installed. Ib! is Tek developed the mounting scheme and the original armor for Spiral 1 and is uniquely qualified to prepare the new roof structure. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures; no written solicitation will be issued. The closing date is 19 May 2005 at 2:00 pm.
