Description
McGuire Air Force Base, Burlington County, New Jersey, is requesting proposals for the installation of new edge lighting on taxiways Kilo and Papa. Work required includes but is not limited to: Construction coordinated with airport operations to allow continuous airfield operations during construction work. Cut existing pavement and excavate for installation of recessed lighting bases and underground conduits. Provide recessed lighting bases and interconnection conduits as shown on drawings. Provide airfield lighting series circuit isolation transformers and 5 KV wiring as shown on drawings. Provide taxiway edge lights, installed on aforementioned lighting bases, in full accordance with manufacturer?s instructions and as further shown on project drawings. Interconnect new airfield lighting circuits with existing circuits as shown on drawings. Backfill excavations and replace/install paving as shown on drawings. Repaint existing taxiway markings that were disturbed during construction. Reseed grass areas adjacent to taxiways that were disturbed during construction. Test all new taxiway lights that were installed under this project, making repairs as necessary to provide fully operational taxiway edge lighting systems. The successful offerer will perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, supplies, equipment and transportation necessary to complete all work in accordance with the specifications. Performance period for this project is 180 days from issuance of Notice To Proceed. The magnitude of this construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The proposed procurement listed herein is a competitive Service-Disabled Veteran Owned small business set aside. All SBA Certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned small business concerns will be eligible to submit proposals. Award of a contract from this solicitation will be made on the basis of Best Value to the government using past performance and price, with past performance being significantly more important than price. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest price offeror. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238210. Any concern responding to this solicitation is considered a small business if the annual gross revenue of the concern and its affiliates for the proceeding three fiscal years do not exceed $12.0 million. All relevant solicitation documents including specifications and or drawings will be made available for download exclusively from the internet by accessing the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) Website http://www.fedbizopps.gov by following the links on the FBO website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 305th CONS. Paper copies will NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates / amendments to any and all documents; and verifying the number of amendments issued prior to the due date for bids.
