Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 595-11-05 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The contract awarded from this solicitation shall be a firm fixed price contract. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-03, Effective 11 Apr 2005. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industry Classification System code is 333912 Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 500 personnel. The solicitation includes the following line items: 0001 One Medical Vacuum System - MSMT-MM1322 Busch 8.7 HP Triplex Stack Mount Dry Claw Vaccum System, 208 Volt, 3 Phase, 60 Hertz, 148 SCFM @ 19" HG, 200 Gallon Vertical Receiver. Also Included (2) - 2" and (1) - 3/4" Isolation Valves, Flex Connectors and VE Pads; One Medical Air System (Air Compressors and Medical Air Treatment Center) - Medical Air Compressor System - DAPOL15-120B 15 HP Duplex,Oil Less Type, Base Mount with Horizontal 120 Gallon Horizontal Receiver, 208 Volt, 3 Phase, 60 Hertz, 54.9 CFM @ 100 PSI. Included With Compressor Package - Spring Vibration Isolation Eliminators, Inlet Filter, Flex Connectors and VE Pads; One Medical Air Treatment Center - ADAD-444 Duplex Air Treatment Center - Duplex Desiccant Dryer System, (2)Dryer Pre-Filters, (2) Dryer After Filters, (2) Line Regulators, Line, Carbon Monoxide Monitor and Alarm, Line Dew Point Monitor and Alarm, Purge Control of Dryer and Required Isolation Valves are included; Certification of Medical Vacuum System & Certification of Medical Air System. 0002 Install the Vacuum Pump in line item 0001 in Bldg1 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Work includes: Demolishing existing vacuum lines and pump equipment, Installing a new MSMT-MM-1322 Stack Mounted Rotary Claw Vacuum System and modifying existing vacuum lines to accommadate the new system. Includes All labor to complete the above, all rigging, rigging equipment, and lifts as well as all vacuum line piping and fittings. 0003 Install Bldg1 Medical Air Compressors noted in line item 0001. Work to include: Demolish existing medical air lines and compressor equipment, install new Duplex, Base Mounted Oil Less Air Compressor Package, complete install New Duplex Dessiccant Air Treatment System, modify existing air lines to accommodate new system Includes all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and quality control necessary to complete installation. Including all rigging, rigging equipment and lifts as well as all medical air line piping and fittings 0004 Electrical Work needed to install medical air and vacuum pumps in line item 0001 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Work includes: Providing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and quality control necessary to disconnect and reconnect vacuum pumps to existing feeders, disconnect air compressors, remove existing control panel, extend existing feeders to new compressors, disconnect existing air dryers and extend existing feeders to new air dryers. Offerors must submit a price for all line items. Deliveries to the Lebanon VA Medical Center shall be FOB Destination.
