- Description
- The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission has a requirement for two (2) Moyno Grinders, NSN # 0990-M04F, or equivalent with the following specifications. Four (4) inch flange mounted inline sewage grinder with a maximum capacity of 45 GPM to be used in the processing of wastewater. The grinders are to be installed in conjunction with a pumping station, ten feet below grade onto present piping. Depth cannot exceed twenty (20) inches. Installation is not required. Grinder construction shall consist of the following main components: Main housing, twin Shaft with cutters and spacer/cutters and a drive assembly. The cutter and drive assembly shall be of the two-shaft design and be capable of continuous operation, processing wet and dry. Single-shaft devices utilizing a single rotation cutter bar with stationary cutters shall not be acceptable. The motor is to be TEFE Design, 3 H.P., 1750 RPM, 3 phase, 240/480 volts, 60 hertz with an automatic controller to sense overload and reverse rotation of the cutters to clear object. Motor controller hardware: U.L. approved enclosure, NEMA 4 fiberglass reinforced polyester. Indicator lights for line active, overload and run conditions. Momentary contact push-button switches to perform start and stop reset operations. Overload terminals shall be provided for remote, overload and /or alarm indication. Estimated issuance and closing date of RFQ IBM05Q0020 is June 6, 2005 and June 17, 2005 respectively. Delivery is to the IBWC, Nogales Field Office located at 865 Rio Rico Industrial Park, Rio Rico, AZ 85648. The estimated price range for this requirement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
