- SOLICITATION N40085-05-D-2423, ANNUAL REFUSE COLLECTION, NAVAL LITTLE CREEK AMPHIBIOUS BASE, VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA The Officer in Charge requires all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to provide refuse collection (non-bulk) services at Naval Little Creek Amphibious Base, Virginia Beach, Virginia, as designated in the specifications. The work shall be accomplished by means of a combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity type contract. Offers shall be submitted to perform work for a period of one (1) year. The Government has the option to extend the term of the contract services for additional periods of one to twelve months, with a total duration not to exceed 120 months. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 562111 with a size standard of $10,500,000.00. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site on or about June 13, 2005. The estimated date for receipt of offers is July 6, 2005. All eligible firms interested in a copy of the RFP may view and/or download the document at the following web site, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. Contractors are encouraged to register on the E-Sol web site prior to downloading the solicitation to ensure notification of any / all changes / additional information related to the solicitation. In accordance with the provisions of DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database on the part of an offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors and contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Third Party ordering of Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Work using DoD Emall and Government Purchase Cards (GPCs) will be utilized. Refer to Section H, SPECIAL CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS, CONTRACTORS SUPPORT OF ELECTRONIC FACILITIES SUPPORT CONTRACTING (e-FSC), and SECTION I, CONTRACT CLAUSES, FAR 52.232-36, PAYMENT BY THIRD PARTY (MAY 1999).
