- The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a potential source to provide Home maker/Home Healthcare service to veterans as referred by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Beckley. The Beckley VAMC participates in a veteran?s health administration program to provide homemaker/home health aide (H/HHA) services to eligible veterans, who in the absence of H/HHA support services would require nursing home placement. H/HHA services will be furnished to veterans in the community for whom such care is specifically authorized by the Beckley VA Medical Center. The services may include home health aides, personal care aides, and homemakers. Beneficiaries of this contract shall be any eligible veteran living in the Beckley VA Medical Center's primary service areas as follows (counties): Clay, Fayette, Greenbrier, McDowell, Mercer, Monroe, Nicholas, Pocahontas, Raleigh, Summers, and Wyoming counties in West Virginia and Tazewell county, Virginia. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621610 and Size Standard is $11.5 million. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company, Socio-Economic Factors, business size, if services are on a FSS, firms experience in providing Homemaker/Home Health Aide (H/HHA) Services and any other pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement. All responses shall be submitted in writing no later than close of business Friday, May 20, 2005, 12 Noon local time to the attention of: Ray C.
