A REVISED PACKAGE THAT WILL CONTAIN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED WITHIN THE NEXT TEN DAYS.***** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F3Q3AH5097A100, is a Request for Quote. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005 – 03. NAICS Code 811212. Place of Performance/FOB Destination: Robins AFB, GA. Solicitation is to secure on-site maintenance, support and diagnostics for 78th Communication Squadron hardware. The Period of Performance is 01 August 2005 through 31 July 2006 (one year). The unit of issue is “months” and the quantity is twelve (12). The following clauses apply: 52.252-2, “Clauses Incorporated by Reference” - the full text of a clause can be accessed electronically at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil; 52.212-1, “Instructions to Offerors – Commercial”; 52.212-2, “Evaluation -- Commercial Items” (price and past performance); 52.212-3, “Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items”, advise of changes in paragraph ‘j’ if necessary; 52.212-4, “Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items”; 52.212-5, “Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items”; and 52.219-27, “Notice of Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set Aside”. Offerors are to submit contract numbers, commercial points of contact (including telephone numbers/e-mail addresses) and dollar figures for two similar contracts within the last two years. Requests for the Statement of Work and the equipment lists, and subsequent quotations, should be sent by e-mail to Robert N. Jones, Jr. at robert.jones3@robins.af.mil. All quotes must be received by 4:30 ET on May 16, 2005.
