Description: The United States Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) is planning the release of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of a five-year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP)/Time and Materials (T&M), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity con tract for spare parts and technical and logistical support services for the AN/PAS-13A and AN/PAS-13B Thermal Weapon Sights (TWSs). Spare parts will be acquired on a FFP basis and technical and logistical support services will be acquired on a T&M basis. Spare parts and technical and logistical support services, which include maintenance, training, and technical manual updates, are required for both TWSs. The government intends to procure the TWS components through a sole source acquisition to Raytheon Corporation of McKinney, Texas in accordance with the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, Only One Respo nsible Source. The United States Government does not possess the data rights for a competitive acquisition for the aforementioned TWS components.
