Description
17. Strategic Systems Programs intends to negotiate with Mathematical Analysis Research Corporation for technical engineering services in support of SLBM operational systems. The The Contractor shall review and evaluate proposed Missile System reliability and Product Assurance documentation, analyses and plans. The Contractor shall assess the adequacy of present and planned data systems to support Missile Systems reliability evaluation. The Contractor shall evaluate proposed FBM ground and flight test programs for adequacy in generating data appropriate for use in reliability and trend assessment, and determine the correlation of possible test failures to ensure proper reliability inputs and reporting. The Contractor shall review and evaluate the reliability predictions and assessments for the D5 LE electronic packages. The Contractor shall review, evaluate and report on proposed Launcher System reliability/product assurance documentation and program plans, determine the application of the methodologies for reliability assessment and forecasts, monitor current assessment techniques to quantify existing or potential errors, and identify more accurate techniques for application to the Launcher System. The Contractor shall support the Integrated Surveillance Program for US/UK MK4 and US MK5 RBAs, evaluate correlation studies, evaluate test data results, evaluate changes and effects on reliability and confidence to the US/UK Surveillance Programs, and develop new models and methodology as necessary.
