- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Applied Science Associates Inc. (dba ASA), Narragansett, RI, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is in accordance with a Statement of Work that describes specialized modification, upgrade, maintenance of the Rapid Response Modeling Systems developed by ASA. This action will be conducted utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A firm fixed-price purchase order is anticipated. The NAICS Code is 541511 with a Business Size of $21.0M. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
