- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Proposal, N00383-05-ROTOR. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03. This requirement is for the furnishing of six (6) each Generator Rotors, CLIN 0001, NSN 7RH 6115 011629315 GF, part number 36E423496G1, for use on F/A?18 aircraft. Due to the unavailability of drawings or other data, this requirement is restricted to Smiths Aerospace, cage 1R9D8. DPAS rating DO-A1B applies. FAR 52.211-8 ? Time of Delivery applies. The Government requires delivery to be made to the following schedule: CLIN 0001AA ? 2 each ? 12 months after date of order ? Ship to DFI004 CLIN 0001AB ? 2 each - 12 months after date of order - Ship to PSZ004 CLIN 0001AC ? 2 each - 12 months after date of order ? Ship to DSP002 FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, applies. Markings shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-130. FAR 52.212-2 does not apply. This is a sole-source acquisition. Only approved sources will be considered. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items. DFAR 252.212-7000 applies. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, applies. An addendum to this clause applies and is attached. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items.
